About the event
From September 23, 2026 5:00 pm to October 28, 2026 8:00 pm
This I-Corps Spark cohort is designed for researchers, entrepreneurs, innovators, and community teams developing quantum-focused technologies and solutions. Whether you are working on quantum computing, quantum sensing, quantum communications, quantum materials, or other emerging quantum applications, this cohort provides an opportunity to explore the potential of your innovation through customer discovery. Through the NSF I-Corps methodology, participants will engage with potential customers, users, and industry stakeholders to better understand their needs and evaluate the real-world potential of their technology.
Quantum technologies are advancing rapidly, creating new opportunities across computing, sensing, communications, materials, and other emerging fields. As these technologies move from the lab toward real-world applications, understanding customer needs and identifying meaningful use cases is critical to successful commercialization. This special Spark cohort takes advantage of the third Northeast Quantum Forum (NEQT) in October, held in the beautiful town of Durham, New Hampshire, which will emphasize novel research in materials and related topics. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with the broader quantum ecosystem and learn about groundbreaking work in the field.
