About the event

Boston-area Harvard alumni & Tech Ecosystem Leaders...You’re Invited!

Technology & Innovation Careers in Massachusetts Fireside Chat and Reception

Harvard University, Harvard Grid, and MassTech Collaborative invite you to an inaugural TechGeneration x Harvard Alumni Fireside Chat & Networking Reception at the Harvard Science & Engineering Complex.

TechGeneration, a MassTech Collaborative initiative, seeks to connect early-career innovators with the people, skills, and opportunities that power Massachusetts’ tech ecosystem. This event will spotlight how emerging talent can plug into that ecosystem and build impactful careers here in the Commonwealth.

As part of the evening, Harvard alums Dr. Bart Machielse, Dr. Mihir Bhaskar, and Sage Nye will share their perspectives on Technology & Innovation Careers in Massachusetts, and explore what makes the state such a powerful and dynamic tech hub. The conversation will be moderated by Paul Hayre, Executive Director of Harvard Grid.

The speaking program will be followed by a networking reception (starting at 6p), designed to provide an opportunity for TechGeneration fellows (area undergraduates summer interning in tech cos) to network with local Harvard alumni and tech ecosystem leaders. We would be thrilled to have you join us to meet the summer 2026 fellows and reconnect with other Harvard alumni!

RSVP required, please confirm your attendance or for more information, contact Haley Arnold, haley_arnold@harvard.edu.
