Dr. Yunha Hwang is Co-founder and Chief Scientist of Tatta Bio and an Assistant Professor at MIT, with appointments across Biology, EECS, and the Schwarzman College of Computing. Tatta Bio develops genomic language models and open tools that help researchers interpret genomes at scale. Yunha earned her PhD in Biology at Harvard and her BS in Computer Science at Stanford. Her research at MIT applies machine learning to microbial diversity in order to uncover sustainable biosolutions.
