Dr. Benjamin Freedman is the Founder of Limax Biosciences, a biotech startup spun out of the Wyss Institute. Limax is developing a biodegradable tissue adhesive inspired by slug mucus. Ben received his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and completed postdoctoral work in David Mooney's lab at the Wyss Institute, where he co-invented the technology behind Limax. His honors include first place in the Health & Life Sciences Track of the 2022 Harvard President's Innovation Challenge.
